The quilt

A group of quilting friends made the Bookshelf Quilt for Barbara as a birthday gift a few years ago and apart from a few short times when it was being exhibited, it has had pride of place in the shop ever since.

Customers regularly comment on it and there have been visitors to the shop who have been told about "the quilt" and come not to buy a book but simply to look at and photograph it.

Both Barbara and Elspeth are keen quilters and are happy to talk about their hobby with customers and fellow quilters...
